Introduction

Research concerning Ad-Hoc Networks and Mesh Networks is conducted in this lab with aims at the achievement of a rich, reliable ubiquitous society through these researches.

Our research is supported by Strategic Information and Communication R&D Promotion Programme(SCOPE) .

Ad-Hoc Network

An Ad-hoc Network is a network of telecommunication equipment potentially independent of base stations where the network is constructed autonomously. The practical uses are currently being explored with special attention to the post disaster scenario, for instance where the conventional telecommunications networks may collapse.

Mesh Network

Mesh Network is a backbone network which consists of wireless Access Points connected with mesh shape. Compare to wired backbone network mesh network has distinct advantages such as easily establishing and expanding networks with low cost.

Ad-Hoc Network consortium

Ad-Hoc Network consortium aim at realize Ad-Hoc networks platform for promotes research on large-scale Ad-Hoc network with cooperation of Industry-university-government and for realize ubiquitous information communication environment.
